This NBIPI IP Principles define a set of non-binding IP principles under which intellectual property generated by the NBIPI may be owned, managed, disseminated and commercialised. The IP Principles proposed are consistent with the National Code of Practice for Managing Intellectual Property from Publicly Funded Research, Irish Council for Science, Technology and Innovation (ICSTI). For the purpose of this document, any projects funded under the NBIPI platform will be defined as an "NBIPI Project".
